How It Began
“Seaside Picnic”
I’ve known since I was in the first grade that I wanted to do two things.
“Be an artist and help people”
As an adult I wasn’t sure how to make those two intersect. I rediscovered painting during a challenge to myself in 2022 beginning on 2inch by 2inch canvases, setting a goal I would create for 30 days without judgement. By the end of week one, I wanted bigger canvas. Was I good? No. Was the art real? Yes. The ball was rolling and I just kept going.
Here we are 2025, my exhibit Plot Twist: A Show and Tell Art Exhibit has been up since August 2024 at the Cleveland Public Library downtown.
